Responsibilities

The homeowners association is the cornerstone of a planned residential community. It brings continuity and order to the community, it preserves the architectural integrity and it maintains the common elements. Properly run, the association promotes the concept of “community” and protects the neighborhood’s property values.

President 

  • Preside over Board meetings 

  • Signage authority 

  • Call meetings 

  • General supervision, direction, and control of affairs 

Vice President

  • Act in the place of the President in their absence

  • Exercise and discharge other duties required of the VP and necessitated by the Board

Secretary

  • Keep records of meetings

  • Keep appropriate current records 

  • Sign as a secretary on deeds, contracts, and other instruments approved by the Board 

Treasurer

  • Responsible for maintenance of books and records as it pertains to association dues and funds 

  • Work with the management company on financial statements ents 

Not Ready to Join? 

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to work on committees.   This can be a one-time or ongoing commitment.  Some of your neighbors want to connect, join us as we try to make that happen.

Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

One of the best ways to maintain property values in a neighborhood is to have an ACC who keeps the land and structures in accordance with the covenants, conditions, and restrictions established in the governing documents.

Social Committee

Plans community events like community garage sales, seasonal festivals, etc. Many times this committee and its members are considered to be the “glue” holding the community together.

Community Awareness Committee

An effective way to develop a relationship with local law enforcement, enhance safety awareness,  can organizes, for example, National Night Out event or suggest safety awareness ideas to our community.
